Justin Bieber is back so what does this mean?

Justin is back. And he is stronger than ever. After a brief hiatus and a self-proclaimed retirement from the music industry (we all knew he wasn’t serious), Justin Bieber is back with his fourth album “Purpose” set to be released this month. His lead release “What do you mean?” was released on August 28, 2015 and hit chart topping status in Canada, Australia, UK and other countries. In the United States, it hit the No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on its debut.

Despite his apparent public skirmishes, well documented in the tabloids, Justin Bieber has tried to stay on track and improve his public image. Well he is talented, young and very well off at his stage of life and is bound to be influenced by his handlers. He has worked to improve his image and basically let his talent speak for itself. This release was well received and ingeniously promoted through a social media campaign. The campaign involved a number of celebrities counting down the days to the release of the single, including Ryan Seacrest, Ariana Grande, Big Sean, hometown alumni Alanis Morissette, Meghan Trainor, Martha Stewart, Britney Spears, Ed Sheeran and others.

It’s a song with good rhythm and Bieber’s voice projects maturity over his previous pre-adolescent offerings. It’s a catchy tune that’s hard not to like, especially given the heavy rotation it receives over the air. Bieber projects soulful vocals with a good range. The accompanying music video was released on August 28, 2015 and features skateboarders Ryan Scheckler and Chelsea Castro. It also stars actor John Leguizamo.

Justin Bieber performed the song live on the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards on August 30, 2015 to rave reviews. If this is a sign of things to come, Justin is back and here to stay.
