Maroon 5

A big time American pop rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band was originally called Kara’s Flowers when it was formed back in 1994 while the guys were still in high school. After years of struggles to get a big break the band started producing hit after hit after rebranding themselves as Maroon 5. Back in 2007 the band recorded their second album which reached all the way to number 1 on the US Billboard 200 chart.

The bands front man and lead singer Adam Levine is one of the most popular people in the world. And has been voted by women as one of the sexiest men in the world. He is also a judge on the famed show The Voice and has led his players to the title of The Voice on multiple occasions.

The band has cited on more than one occasion their musical influences include the likes of Michael Jackson, The Bee Gees, Stevie Wonder, Justin Timberlake, Prince, Marvin Gaye, Tupac Shakur and the famed band The Police.

Adam Levine has led the band to multi-platinum status and they have made millions of dollars doing so. Levine took home over $35 million last year alone, and that doesn’t account for his endorsement deals, nor his appearances, or even his large contract with The Voice. He is probably the most popular judge amongst the 4 simply because fans feel he is very versatile and he gives off this type of confident and exciting aura which is hard to find not only in the music industry but anywhere in the world.

The band has had over 9 successful tours starting back in 2002 and the latest tour which has been going on this year is modestly labeled Maroon 5 World Tour 2015. All the guys of Maroon 5 support various charities and have done a ton of work for the ASR: The Aids Still Required.
